We signed the lease on our new home today! Saturday is when we get to move in, we can't wait!

While packing I came across my piggy bank and decided to empty it so it'd be easier to move. There was over $60 in it! It was a pleasant surprise.

Today we played dominoes with Cayla and Kaleo, but we got bored with it and turned it into a game a of Jenga.

We spent most of today packing, but took some time to go to the park. It was such a pretty day!

Tonight we had tuna steaks and they were awesome. I made an amazing marinade and Trey grilled them with one of our wedding gifts. Prettttty delicious.

Another home cooked date night dinner! We're going to have to eat as much food out of the fridge/freezer as we can before we move. That shouldn't be a problem though.

I saw a few more houses today with our Realtor. We might have a winner on our list, but there are just a few more to look at before we decide.

Tilly loves laundry day. She goes crazy and runs circles in the laundry basket, then falls asleep on the warm clothes.

Trey bought me chocolate, champagne, and a beautiful rose! 
We have dinner reservations at a nice Italian place for dinner too. 
(Those are the cards we made for each other at the museum party, by the way)

For Valentine's Day we decided to get a couples massage. Best decision ever! They even gave us fancy truffles in a chocolate box.

Tonight we went to an awesome after-hours party at the Fort Worth museum. They had a special Valentine's Day event with balloon animals, a palm reading guy, crafts, and lots of other awesome things. It was a lot of fun.

It's still cold out, but Tilly is here to keep me warm while Trey is away. She is the sweetest kitten ever.

Trey had a snow day today, but it all melted before I had to go to work, so I didn't get a day off. I got my caffeine boost for the day though, a "trenta" sized iced tea!

Well, we're starting to pack things up to move. While Trey is at work I pack stuff. Hopefully we can get it all done by the end of the month!

To make up for the fact that it's Monday I decided to cook dinner for Trey and I. Crispy potatoes, salmon, and garlic bread. Yummmm!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! 

Even though the Saints didn't make it this year, we still watched the game for fun. I made a cheese ball & Oreo brownies and we had hummus & layered bean dip to snack on. It was a good day.

Now that the sun came out the roads are safer and we could venture to the store to restock our fridge. Apparently everyone in Denton was thinking the same thing, Wal-Mart was crazy! The lines were so long! We were glad to get out of there, go home, cook dinner, and relax.

We got several more inches of snow today! Also, it is our 5th monthaversary!  
In celebration we played in the snow, went to see The Mechanic, and ate pizza. It's been a wonderful day.

While Trey was at work I was doing wifey things like vacuuming and cooking. I thought Trey would appreciate having dinner ready when he got home from work. Knowing traffic would be bad because of the icy roads, I planned to have it ready a bit later. Little did I know it would take him three and a half hours to get home! That's insane. Oh, and more snow is coming tonight.

Temperatures are still way below freezing, and on top of that our electricity has been going off and on all day. Trey tried going to work today, but fishtailed through an intersection and decided it was too dangerous to try to drive all the way to Dallas. Everything is covered in a thick layer ice, we went out and skated around until we were too cold.

Thunder snow! 

We got a lot of snow, hail, and sleet last night in the closest thing we've ever seen to a blizzard. This morning Trey tried to go to work, but even with their delayed start time it was no where near safe driving conditions here in Denton.

I had a big interview today. It lasted just over 4 hours. I hope it went well, fingers crossed!

Today we woke up early, had some breakfast, and went on a house hunt. There are a lot of houses on our list and driving by the areas where they are have helped us decide where we should & shouldn't live. No decisions have been made.

We were in the living room when Wikkit started meowing constantly. He wouldn't stop so we went to find him. He was just sitting in the bathtub. I guess he was confused or something, haha.

I was going to surprise Trey with a salmon dinner when he got home, but then I realized we only had one small fillet in the freezer, so we had a half-fillet side to the twice baked potatoes. To make up for it we made corn and noodles. So good. I love twice baked potatoes!

Another Thursday, another date night! This time we made burritos with queso and watched a movie at home. And if you didn't already know, Julio makes a delicious tortilla chip (if you don't mind MSG).
