I came home to a nice surprise on my porch after work. My parents sent us a Jack O'Lantern Scentsy! It's been a long week; we're definitely looking forward to a relaxing weekend.

Last night we had a nice, windy, thundery storm. It made the weather a bit cooler today and the cats went crazy. Tilly spent a good amount of time going from the ground, to the counter top, to the fridge, and to the top of the cabinets and back down again.

While I was making Trey's sandwich Tilly wouldn't leave me alone, so I gave her a slice of bread. She ate quite a bit. It doesn't surprise me though, when she was younger I learned my lesson. I bought bread and left it out on the counter and when I wasn't looking she sat on the loaf, chewed through the plastic, and ate the crust off the bread. Never again.

Tilly loves laundry day. She goes crazy and runs circles in the laundry basket, then falls asleep on the warm clothes.

It's still cold out, but Tilly is here to keep me warm while Trey is away. She is the sweetest kitten ever.

I'm glad that our cats are indoor cats. Instead of bringing us dead things, Tilly leaves food in crinkly wrappers in our shoes and by our bed. This morning it was fruit snacks and chocolate covered espresso beans, haha.

Today was a day of relaxing, cleaning, and doing laundry. I always try to stop the cats, but there is something irresistible about clean, warm clothes. Trey starts his new job tomorrow!

Tilly is the opposite of helpful when it comes to wrapping presents.

Tilly worships the space heater. If she gets cold (when it is off) she sits right in front of it so we know she wants us to turn it on. As you can see in this picture, she is very pleased.

Tilly loves this bag, I'm going to feel terrible when I throw it away. In other news... it's going to be in the 20's tonight! It's space heater time.

Well, the cats are certainly enjoying our tree. I would guess that about 3 ornaments a day will get knocked off until we take it down and probably a handful of pine-bristles will be eaten. Tilly looks pretty adorable as she takes a break from terrorizing the tree.

Getting ready for Thanksgiving! I can't wait until I have a real kitchen table and can host a real dinner. My parents will be in Denton late tonight to spend Thursday with us.

It has been quite cold the past few days.  We have all been compensating by snuggling up together on the couch.

Cayla and Kaleo came over to cook lunch together and watch the Saints win, then we played board games all afternoon.

My wedding ring finally got back from being resized and our drivers licenses came in the mail with our new addresses and new name. I guess we are "official" now. Now Tilly waits by the door for her mom to get off work.

It was so cold and rainy today, the cats have been napping forever. But they do that anyways, even when it's not cold, haha. Also, today was my first day of work, woohoo.
