I'm glad that our cats are indoor cats. Instead of bringing us dead things, Tilly leaves food in crinkly wrappers in our shoes and by our bed. This morning it was fruit snacks and chocolate covered espresso beans, haha.
143
Today we finally had some appointments to look inside a few of the houses on our list. It's fun thinking about living in one of these houses, but it's a hard decision when it comes to actually picking one.
142
Well, I turned in my resignation letter. Once we move to Dallas it won't make much sense to commute to Denton for a part time job. I'll keep interviewing until I find something else.
141
After Christmas I got this cat toy super cheap and Wikkit has already started to destroyed it. That little red ball he has used to be attached to that stick, now it is in a bunch of tiny pieces all over the apartment.

We drove all over Dallas today looking at houses. It was just a preliminary drive-by to check out the neighborhoods; we eliminated quite a few that way. Since we stayed out pretty late we stopped to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, Cafe Brazil.
139
Tonight we had a dinner party at Cayla & Kaleo's house. We cooked a Cajun shrimp linguine dish; it was delicious.
138
Another Thursday date night! I'm glad I've been working less so we can spend more time together now that Trey works all day, every day. We went to go see The Green Hornet, and this time we splurged and got popcorn.
137
Cayla and I had a craft day and she taught me how to cross stitch! This is my first attempt; I think it turned out cute. We're going to have to have more craft days.

We've been doing a lot of work to try and find a new home. If everything works out the way we are planning we will be in a new home by March! Now the trouble is narrowing down Trey's list of 55+ homes to just one; we're organized, but indecisive.
135
I love having dinner in the oven when Trey gets home from work. It makes me feel like such a housewife, even if it is just something simple.
134
Egg-in-the-hole-in-the-bread makes for a yummy anytime snack. As a twist I dusted mine with powdered sugar because I like everything just a bit sweeter than it should be. Mmmmm...
133
These are our childhood bears: Beary & Teddy. When we were dating I had Beary and Trey had Teddy and now they are together in our room! It's silly, I know, but we're sentimental people :)

While Trey was at work today Cayla came over to hang out and we made a cherry turnover. It was so good! I had kept leftover scraps from the cherry pie I made at Christmastime to bake a snack when I got a chance; it turned out that was a great idea.
131
Thursday-date-day! We went out to eat at a nice, new Italian place and went to go see Tron in 3-D. Date nights are always fun.

It is still ridiculously cold out. I know it's worse almost everywhere else in the northern hemisphere, but I'm not used to this. It barely gets above freezing for an hour, then the temperature goes back down again. My hot tea and space heater are keeping me warm while Trey is at work though.
129
I cooked a big meal for Trey tonight. Marinated salmon, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed cheesy broccoli, and breadsticks!
128
Trey found a pretty awesome icicle. It dripped all over the floor and ended up in the disposal, but we still have a snowball in the freezer!

Snow day! We went on a cold walk to the square and had a big snowball fight. It was fun, but then I got hit in the face by some guy and got a nosebleed. Oh well, we still enjoyed the day, at least it was memorable.
125
We got super cheap clearance candy canes from Target. I guess we could eat the green ones first so they can be Valentine's Day canes.

Today I impulsively decided to bake biscuits. They are pretty delicious if I do say so myself. I like to think that the hole in the owl is his mouth and he wants to eat everything.

Trey gave me a sewing machine for my birthday, I can't wait to use it! He also gave me an owl thing-holder and a spa/massage day (which I also cannot wait to use). What a perfect birthday.
122
I'm 24! After Trey got home from work we went out to Red Lobster for my birthday and Cayla joined us too. This is when they were singing to me (sorry for the blurriness). It was fun & yummy, but they didn't even give me a free dessert, lame. Today is also our 4th monthaversary, hooray!
121
Trey started his new job today! I didn't have to work so I cooked him a, "congratulations, I love you" dinner.
120
Today was a day of relaxing, cleaning, and doing laundry. I always try to stop the cats, but there is something irresistible about clean, warm clothes. Trey starts his new job tomorrow!
119
Happy New Year, everyone! We spent the first day of the new year with some of our best friends. Chinese buffets might have to become a New Year's tradition.
118 - 2010 in review
2010 was a great year.
It started in January with a perfect proposal. The next month we had a very snowy February. During the spring we had fun making a "save the date" video.
In the summer we took an amazing trip to Italy & Greece.
We had lots of showers with friends and family.
Trey graduated in August. In September we got married and went on a beautiful, relaxing honeymoon.
We enjoyed a lovely autumn together.
I graduated in December. And lastly, we had our first Christmas as a married couple.
