Our friend Chris couldn't make it to our wedding, but made it up to us by making delicious curry! We loved the pug salt & pepper shakers he had; ridiculously cute.

Today was a beautiful fall day. We ordered pizza, opened the windows, went for a nice walk, and watched the Saints lose.
Sad, but still beautiful.

Earlier we had a debate about what is on McDonald's fries: regular salt or yellow seasoning salt? The only way we could settle it was to go get some.

This evening we went for our pre-dinner walk and ended up going all the way to Kroger (almost 2 miles away)! Since we were there we picked up some French bread and fake chicken. Now we're making pasta!

The Saints are playing today and we're stoked! Trey made hot dogs and I made rosemary-garlic potatoes and Saints brownies.

Trey spent the afternoon cleaning the apartment, while I spent most of the day preparing for my first exam, with no help from Tilly. We have most everything in order from the move-in and the exchange of old things for the new. I'm pretty excited about using our new dishes!

We got an awesome TV today. Trey insists that the first thing we have to watch is Independence Day, so I guess that is what we're about to do!

We had fish sticks and french fries on plastic kid plates for dinner tonight. Just because we're married doesn't mean we have to grow up just yet.

We went to Cayla and Kaleo's place to play Rummikub and meet their new babies: Mayonnaise and Daisy. I love them!

The final day of our honeymoon. We woke up, ate the rest of our leftovers in the fridge, gave away our floaty rafts, and packed up. Then we spent the rest of the day travelling and got back to Denton at 1 AM. We're tired from travelling, but so relaxed from our week on an island.

This evening we ate at a nice ocean-side restaurant and just after sunset they lit this huge metal ball on fire! We were sad that it was our last night on the island, but this was a good way to end to an amazing week.

A big storm came through this afternoon, we thought it was one of the hurricanes threatening the Lower Antilles, but it wasn't. The dark clouds made for a cool picture though. It cleared up just in time for us to go out for a fancy dinner.
6
We went on a "sunset dinner cruise" this evening. A boat took us around the island to the French side (Sint Martin) where we had an awesome 3 course meal at a local French restaurant.
5
We spent the day shopping in Philipsburg (on the island) and when I saw this fellow I just had to go get my picture with him.
4
We bought some cinnamon-apple coffee cake at a bakery and red orange juice for our breakfasts. It was such a lovely way to wake up - the sound of the waves was so peaceful and the view was extraordinary.

The first day of our honeymoon in St. Maarten! I'm pretty sure we had the best room in the resort. This was our unobstructed view of the magnificent sunset from our patio.

Our first day as a married couple. We stayed up all night Sunday for our flight at 5 AM (Cayla and Kaleo were awesome to drop us off and pick us up). It was a long day; we were pretty delirious by the time we got off the plane at 2 PM, but it was still super exciting.
