We may have passed the one year mark, but the fun isn't over!

On our way out of town we stopped for lunch and enjoyed some great fried fish.

Before we crossed back over into Texas we stopped at a casino. It was a fun way to break up the drive.

Today is our one-year anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking out the window to this view is so relaxing. I think it was in the 60's this morning. Waking up without an alarm clock and sharing breakfast in the early sunshine on our patio was just amazing.

Today we went to a local winery and browsed around some of the local shops for most of the afternoon.

We ended the night by enjoying the cool breeze outside and grilling salmon & corn on the cob.

Our big plans for today included a canoe trip down Mount Fork River. 

It was a lot of fun and I can't believe we never tipped over.

Oddly enough we had some friends who happened to be vacationing in Broken Bow, so we met them for dinner tonight. Oklahoma Mexican food is nowhere near as good as Texas Mexican food, believe it or not. The giant blue giraffe was a nice touch though.

We both took a vacation day today and headed to Broken Bow, OK for our Anniversary Weekend.

Driving Dino accompanies us on all our road trips.

 

Here is our cabin, along with a hot tub. Nice.

There was a food truck festival in Dallas this weekend and it sounded like fun, so we thought we'd check it out. The lines were ridiculous and it was super hot out so we ended up going to Genghis Grill across the street. Oh well.

We went to go see Handsome Furs tonight. They always put on a good show.
