Temperatures are still way below freezing, and on top of that our electricity has been going off and on all day. Trey tried going to work today, but fishtailed through an intersection and decided it was too dangerous to try to drive all the way to Dallas. Everything is covered in a thick layer ice, we went out and skated around until we were too cold.

Thunder snow! 

We got a lot of snow, hail, and sleet last night in the closest thing we've ever seen to a blizzard. This morning Trey tried to go to work, but even with their delayed start time it was no where near safe driving conditions here in Denton.

I had a big interview today. It lasted just over 4 hours. I hope it went well, fingers crossed!

Today we woke up early, had some breakfast, and went on a house hunt. There are a lot of houses on our list and driving by the areas where they are have helped us decide where we should & shouldn't live. No decisions have been made.

We were in the living room when Wikkit started meowing constantly. He wouldn't stop so we went to find him. He was just sitting in the bathtub. I guess he was confused or something, haha.

I was going to surprise Trey with a salmon dinner when he got home, but then I realized we only had one small fillet in the freezer, so we had a half-fillet side to the twice baked potatoes. To make up for it we made corn and noodles. So good. I love twice baked potatoes!

Another Thursday, another date night! This time we made burritos with queso and watched a movie at home. And if you didn't already know, Julio makes a delicious tortilla chip (if you don't mind MSG).
