Today we celebrated our 2nd Valentine's day as a married couple! For most of the day we wandered Austin, going to different shops and the state Capitol. 

Then for dinner we got all dressed up and went to dinner at the Driskill. We had a fancy 5 course meal, like nothing we've had before. It was pretty amazing.

After our 2 hour long dinner we went to the Alamo Drafthouse to see Master Pancake riff The Notebook. Quite fitting for Valentine's entertainment. I think this might be the best Valentine's Day yet.

Tonight kicks off our Valentine's day weekend! After work we hit the road, stopped in Waco for dinner, and drove on to Austin. Trey booked us a nice hotel with a beautiful view of downtown. Super excited for tomorrow!

This weekend we went to Jordan & Mallory's cabin in Quitman, TX with a few of our friends. We rode 4-wheelers, shot potato guns, and made s'mores. It was a lot of fun and a welcomed break from a long week of work.
