I spent all afternoon baking cookies for the neighbors so we could introduce ourselves, but only 2 people answered their doors. I even saw some of them were home, they just didn't come to the door. Moderately upsetting. More cookies for us, I guess.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! 

Even though the Saints didn't make it this year, we still watched the game for fun. I made a cheese ball & Oreo brownies and we had hummus & layered bean dip to snack on. It was a good day.

While Trey was at work today Cayla came over to hang out and we made a cherry turnover. It was so good! I had kept leftover scraps from the cherry pie I made at Christmastime to bake a snack when I got a chance; it turned out that was a great idea.

Today I impulsively decided to bake biscuits. They are pretty delicious if I do say so myself. I like to think that the hole in the owl is his mouth and he wants to eat everything.

We did some last minute holiday baking after I got back from work. It was a really long night, getting home at 1:30.

Girl day! Trey is out of town so Cayla and I went shopping, out to eat, baked, and stayed up talking all night. I miss Trey, but I'm glad I'm not alone. I love Cayla.

I finally got a chance to use my Kitchen Aid and I love it! Cayla, Trey and I made chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies for Halloween weekend.

This afternoon Trey and I played tennis with our new racquets and made quesadillas for dinner. Then Cayla and I made a snickerdoodle pie- SO good! Now we're all going to watch a scary movie. Hooray for fall!
